We love spice in our home. This is no secret if you’ve seen some of my other recipes that include jalapeño. Coleslaw is a staple side dish for summer BBQs and why not spice it up a little? Enter Chipotle Lime Coleslaw.
It is your more standard mayo based coleslaw, but has the added kick of jalapeños and uses chipotle lime mayo. I love the smokiness of the chipotle with the spice of the jalapeño, its a perfect flavor combo!
It is super simple to throw together and it will be a hit with your next BBQ gathering. We love to put this on top of our BBQ Chicken sandwiches which makes them sweet and spicy! Yum!
If you have never tried chipotle lime mayo, run to the store and grab some! There are a few brands easily found: Better Body Foods and Primal Kitchen – I have used both.
