Ingredients and Substitutions

  • Orange Juice – Look for a brand that has no added sugar. Pulp or pulp free, that’s your personal preference. I go with pulp free from my favorite brand, Simply Orange.
  • Cranberry Juice – Pure cranberry juice with no added sugar or other juices combined. Another favorite of mine is RW Knudsen.
  • Chilled bottle of Champagne or dry sparkling wine – Your favorite bottle of champagne or a bottle of Prosecco.
  • Frozen Cranberries
  • Fresh Rosemary Sprigs – Adds that Christmas flair to your drink. Simply a garnish and will not add any rosemary flavor to your drink.
  • Make this a mocktail – substitute the champagne for Lemon-Lime Soda, Sparkling water or non-alcoholic sparkling white grape juice

How to make a Mistletoe Mimosa

  1. Place about 6-7 frozen cranberries in the bottom of each glass.
  2. Add 2 oz of orange juice and 1 oz cranberry juice to each glass.
  3. Top with desired amount of champagne.
  4. Garnish with rosemary sprig.

Tips for Success

  • Make sure your champagne/sparkling wine and juices are chilled
  • Adjust the amounts of juice to your own personal preference
  • Any type of champagne or prosecco works, again personal preference. Since the juice adds sweetness, I choose a dry variety.
