I don’t necessarily meal prep actual meals, but I do love to have snacks on hand and ready for the week! My kids absolutely love these and I do too!

This recipe for my no-bake oatmeal raisin energy balls is a healthy snack alternative plus it is refined sugar-free! It uses wholesome ingredients that you probably already have right in your pantry.

Energy balls are a great snack as they are filling and have lots of good for you ingredients. It doesn’t hurt that they taste like an oatmeal raisin cookie.

In just 10 minutes you can have these ready to go for the week for after school snacks, post workout or even dessert!

Ingredients for Oatmeal Raisin Energy Balls

NUT BUTTER – I use almond butter in this recipe. I do not recommend peanut butter as it tends to overwhelm the rest of the flavors. I have not tested it, but cashew butter or SunButter may be another alternative.

SWEETENER – A little bit of honey provides just the right amount of sweetness while keeping this snack refined sugar-free.

ROLLED OATS – Old fashioned rolled oats. If you need this to be gluten free, make sure to check your labels and get certified gluten free.

HEMP SEEDS – These add some extra protein and healthy omegas. I use this brand.

SPICES – Cinnamon, ground ginger, and nutmeg give these energy balls the flavors of an oatmeal cookie.

ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS – Salt and vanilla.

Measuring cups and small bowls labeled with Rolled Oats, vanilla, honey, spices, raisins, almond butter and hemp seeds.
