I have been enjoying this Raspberry-Mint Iced Green tea for a while. Especially since it has been so stinking hot outside! This iced drink is a refreshing and light blend of green tea and raspberry white tea. The mint adds an extra cooling factor to it. This only takes 5 minutes to put together and you can be enjoying the sun while staying cool in no time!
I use Uncle Lee’s Organic Green Tea and Tea of Life Pure Ceylon Raspberry White Tea. Both can be found on amazon, but any brand will work. You will need a large glass or tumbler that can hold 32 ounces of liquid,
Ingredients for Raspberry-Mint Iced Green Tea:
- 2 bags Green Tea
- 2 bags Raspberry White Tea
- 1 tablespoons Mint Leaves
- 3 Lemon Slices
Directions:
- Boil your water and let it cool slightly for a minute or two, then pour 8-9 oz into a mug or glass measuring cup. Add your tea bags plus mint and let them steep for 2-3 minutes. You can add any sweetener at this point or you can sweeten after.
- Meanwhile, place your lemon slices in the bottom of the glass and then fill with ice.
- Strain out your mint leaves and pour the tea over the ice. Top off with cold water
Garnish with mint or raspberries if desired and enjoy!
