Pomegranate Pear Moscow Mule

This Pomegranate Pear Moscow Mule is a delicious and refreshing twist on a classic cocktail using fall fruits. Serve this gorgeous cocktail at your next gathering!

Are you a fan of Moscow Mules? Me too! I love ginger beer and its strong, spicy flavor, so naturally a cocktail made with it is right up my alley!

A traditional Moscow Mule is made with just 3 basic ingredients:

  1. Vodka
  2. Fresh Lime Juice
  3. Ginger Beer

For this fall version, I’m using pear infused vodka and adding a splash of pomegranate juice. I love the tartness of the pomegranate mixed with the sweet pear and spicy, bubbly ginger beer. It is such a perfect combo! This is a delicious drink to serve around the fire pit on those crisp fall nights.

A Moscow Mule is a fast and easy cocktail to make and is made right in the glass. No shaker needed!

Ingredients for Pomegranate Pear Moscow Mule

Only 4 ingredients needed!

Pomegranate Juice

Most pomegranate juice can be found in the produce section. Make sure your pomegranate juice is 100% juice and no sugar added. POM is the most common brand, but any brand will do.

Pear Infused Vodka

I used Absolute brand, but there are several others out there.

Lime Juice

Fresh lime juice is best, but in a pinch you can substitute for bottled.

Ginger Beer

I prefer to keep my cocktails low in sugar and so I use either Zevia Ginger Beer Mixers or Reed’s Zero Sugar Extra Ginger Beer. Both brands do not use artificial sweeteners and are sugar free.

Feel free to use your favorite brand of ginger beer in this cocktail.

Garnishes

Garnish your drink with freshly sliced pear and pomegranate seeds if desired.

How to make a Pomegranate Pear Moscow Mule

  1. Fill a copper mug with crushed ice.
  2. Add 1 ounce of pomegranate juice, 2 ounces of pear infused vodka and lime juice.
  3. Top with 4 ounces of ginger beer.
  4. Garnish with pear slices and pomegranate seeds if desired.

Equipment needed

No special equipment needed except a copper mule mug. The copper mug is traditional and keeps the drink cold. However, a Moscow Mule can be served in a highball glass or any other glass you have on hand.
